The 2019 Walk for Life is only a month and a half away! The weeks leading up to the Walk always fly by, and we know that you and countless other walkers are working hard to help us raise $200,000, enabling our volunteers to empower 167 moms to choose life for their unborn children.
In a busy season like this, it’s easy to get so preoccupied with event-related tasks that we forget the most powerful tool we have: prayer.
Philippians 4:6 (NLT) says, “Don’t worry about anything; instead, pray about everything. Tell God what you need, and thank him for all he has done.”
We desire to have a prayerful attitude as we approach this year’s Walk for Life. By bringing the pregnancy center and its mission before God daily, we demonstrate our dependence on his provision and our confidence in his faithfulness.

And so we invite you to join us for the 40 days leading up to the Walk for Life as we pray to our heavenly Father. As we did last year, we invite you to view these 40 days through the eyes of the women we serve—each day representing one week out of the 40 weeks of pregnancy.
For our clients, each week of pregnancy brings with it something brand new—be it a barrier, a blessing, or just the general anxiety and fear that come with walking into the unknown.
Our hope is that over the course of these 40 days, God will stir in your heart a deeper empathy for our clients, a stronger passion for the sanctity of human life, and a greater love for the Author of Life.
Beginning Monday, March 25, we will provide a daily Scripture passage, a short devotional, and specific ways to pray for the ministry of the pregnancy center. If you would like to participate in the 40 Days of Prayer with us, you can click here to view each day’s entry, or you can sign up to receive them as a daily email by filling in your info below.
We know and believe that God hears us and answers us when we pray according to his will (1 John 5:14-15). We hope you will join us as we pray that God will use the pregnancy center to make his name great in Greensboro and that he would receive glory in everything we do.
