Who We Are

The Pregnancy Network is a Christian, multi-denominational organization seeking to serve women who need help facing their unplanned pregnancies without fear. Our services are for anyone regardless of age, race, religion, or sexual orientation. We are a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. All services are free of charge to clients and funded by individual donors and organizations in our community.

Our Focus

Empowering women to face their unplanned pregnancies without fear.

At The Pregnancy Network, we care for the physical, emotional, and spiritual needs of individuals by embodying Christian principles and values. We support individuals before, during, and after an unplanned pregnancy by providing medical services, education, resources, and mentoring. We serve Greensboro and Winston-Salem in the Triad area.

Come Connect Cultivate

There is a place for you here. The pyramid pictured is our Partner Success Sequence. This is the strategy by which we measure success for partners like you who want to make a difference. When you step off the sidelines as a spectator, we invite you to Come, Connect, and Cultivate.

Once you progress through each level of this sequence, our hope is that you will be an Influencer in your community who empowers others to join the movement and empower women.

"This truly feels like a place that loves people and loves the volunteers."

Frequently Asked Questions

Previously called the Open House, our First Look is the opportunity to come and see who we are as an organization, how we empower women to face their unplanned pregnancies, and practical ways to join the movement. The First Look is for anyone interested in partnering with us through prayer, serving, and giving.

  1. Attend a First Look at one of our locations or online.
  2. Complete an application.
  3. Meet One-on-one with the Volunteer Coordinator.
  4. Come to an orientation.

We offer many opportunities to partner with us through volunteering. Teams include: Peer Advocates, Sidewalk Advocates, Administration, Class Facilitators, Event Planning, Church Engagement, Cleaning/Maintenance, and more. Some of our opportunities are client interactive and others are behind the scenes. The full list of positions and time commitments are available at the First Look

Our greatest need is for Peer Advocates. Advocates meet one-on-one with clients. They talk with clients about their options and present relevant community resources. This team requires the highest commitment and training. We provide in-depth training and equip each advocate to serve.

While most of our opportunities are for individuals, groups can serve together on a variety of teams including Cleaning/Maintenance, Hospitality, and Administration. Groups can also attend or serve at fundraising events or host baby showers and diaper drives to provide class incentives for our clients. Click here to contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Taylor Burchett, and schedule a date.

We have a few teams that are kid-friendly as well as some opportunities that can be completed at home.

All volunteers are required to be members of a local church and to be professing Christians. They must also affirm our Statement of Belief.

Absolutely. We have many volunteers who have used their stories of redemption to minister to the women we serve. We do require you to first complete an abortion recovery program. This can be done with us or another program. Because engaging with women on the frontlines can surface old wounds, we want to make sure you have walked through complete healing. Contact us to learn more about our Abortion Recovery program.
