Come Serve as a Volunteer!
Volunteers are the life-blood of our ministry. They give their time and compassion to clients who need someone to believe in them, and help raise money to make our services available. To put it another way, we are a “volunteer led, staff supported” organization. While staff facilitate the organization, volunteers ultimately carry out the mission and provide the one-on-one care to clients that characterizes who we are. Keep reading to learn how you can get started serving with us!
How Do I Get Started?
The flow chart below illustrates the steps you must take to get started. Take a look, then click the button below to sign up for our Open House.
What is the Open House?
In order to become a volunteer on any of our teams, your first step is to sign-up for our Open House event. The open house is your “front door” to the pregnancy center ministry. It’s a 1.5 hour orientation with light refreshments. We hold this event on a regular basis to expose newcomers to who we are and what we do at The Pregnancy Network. If you’re interested in partnering with us in any way, the Open House is for you.
First, we’ll give you a more in-depth look at our organization as we cover who we are and what we do. Whether you’ve been connected to the ministry for a long time or you’re new, you may want to come learn about the changes that we’ve been making and hear about our future plans, learn our organizational structure, ask questions, and more.
Second, we’ll share ways for you to partner with us. You can volunteer on one (or more) of our teams, learn how to share the mission of the center within your spheres of influence, and learn about opportunities to partner financially.
Finally, we’ll get you started on your next steps: signing our Statement of Belief, making a profile on our website, and then completing an application.
In conclusion, there are multiple opportunities and teams to explore. So you won’t want to miss the Open House if you plan to plug-in to The Pregnancy Network. We can’t wait to have you join us!
*Due to COVID-19, we are currently only offering the Open House online.*
Frequently Asked Questions

Absolutely. We have many volunteers who have used their stories of redemption to minister to the women we serve. We do require you to first complete an abortion recovery program. This can be done with us or another program. Because engaging with women on the frontlines can surface old wounds, we want to make sure you have walked through complete healing. Contact us to learn more about our Abortion Recovery program.
Our greatest need is for Peer Advocates. Advocates meet one-on-one with clients. They talk with clients about their options and present relevant community resources. This team requires the highest commitment and training. We provide in-depth training and equip each advocate to serve. Find out more at the Open House!
Yes, over half of our teams engage in work that is not on the frontlines with clients.
Of course! Click here to contact our Volunteer Coordinator, Morgan Barker, and set up a date.
We have a few teams that are kid-friendly. You can bring your children along to volunteer with you or volunteer from home.
All volunteers are required to be members of a local church and to be professing Christians. They must also sign our Statement of Belief.
