The medical services we offer are pregnancy tests, limited OB ultrasounds, and STD testing and treatment. In 2023, every woman who comes through our doors will receive professional and compassionate medical care by one of the six registered nurses on staff.

The Parenting 101 class equips women for parenting after the baby is born. If a woman chooses abortion, we provide the opportunity for her to participate in our Abortion Recovery program. In addition to classes, we can continue to provide educational opportunities and resources for women across the Triad in 2023.

Last year, more than 50 women participated in this program. With your sponsorship, we can continue to connect women with local churches for mentorship opportunities. Frequently Asked Questions
If you have a family of walkers, make sure to register each member who wants a t-shirt so they can receive one by raising at least $100! That means if you’re bringing kids who want a t-shirt, make sure you register them, and have them ask friends, teachers, or family members to help them get to $100!
The easiest way to raise that $100 is for you to give $50, and for you to get one friend or family member to give $50. Or for you to give $20 and ask 4 people you know to give $20, etc. You can do it!
If you can’t make it to the event, don’t worry! You can still help us raise money by joining a walk team. As a walk participant, your real race is to see who can raise the most money. You can raise money without coming to the event itself, though we’d love for you to be there if it’s possible. As long as you raise the funds and turn in all donations before the beginning of the event, you’ll be eligible for top prizes.
It’s totally fine if you don’t want to join a team, but still want to come walk at our event; joining the walk event is free and open to anyone who shows up. However, we would encourage you to participate in the mission with us by helping us raise funds on your own! You can register as an individual fundraiser. Just click on the “Register” button at the top of this webpage and select “Join as an Individual” under the “Participation Preference” dropdown menu on the registration form (it’s the first dropdown menu on the form). Thanks for partnering with us!
Funds you help raise allow The Pregnancy Network to continue offering free services to clients for the fiscal year. It takes nearly $1,500 to empower one mom to choose life for her child here at TPN. This year, our goal is $200,000. That’s equivalent to 133 moms. How many moms will you help?
This year’s walk will account for approximately 18% of our overall budget. Please help us meet this goal! We are always available to talk further, if needed. A detailed breakdown of our budget is available upon request. Help us empower more moms to choose life for their children!
You can turn in money collected offline at The Pregnancy Network during normal business hours (9am-5pm) or on the morning of the Walk event at check-in.
Walk for Life takes place rain or shine. However, if weather conditions become dangerous, the event will be cancelled. Be sure to let your supporters know that The Pregnancy Network still needs their support, rain or shine. The real race is to see which team can raise the most money!
The route begins at LeBauer Park and runs through downtown Greensboro. It’s a two-mile walk.
Participants get supporters by asking! No one will support you if you fail to ask them. Many people are supported by co-workers, friends, family, neighbors, and local businesses. Some companies also sponsor their employees, or provide matching gifts.
Participants who use online fundraising raise 3 to 4 times the amount of money than those who do not. It is safe and secure, and you don’t need to handle cash or deposit checks. Send the link to your fundraising page (or your team fundraising page) to friends and family via text message, email, or on social media!
How To Raise Money
The best way to raise money is by forming a team of fundraisers. To form a team, designate a team leader to create your team and start rallying others to participate as team members (fundraisers). Team members actively raise money by contacting their friends and family to donate to them and/or the team. Then on walk day, your team comes to the event with money in-hand or already raised online. See below for two ways to collect money. Teams and individuals who raise the most money by Walk day will earn incentives at various levels!
2 Ways to Collect Money
1. Online:
After registering online, you and your teammates can start getting donations to your personal Walk for Life page or your team page. Contact friends, share your page on social media, or text the link to your page via text messaging.
2. Collect Donations:
You can use the donation form in our Fundraiser Packet to collect cash and checks. Be sure to fill out all the contact information for donors so we can process their gifts. Place the money in an envelope with the donation form enclosed and bring it on Walk day. (*If you need a Fundraiser Packet, swing by The Pregnancy Network to pick one up, or get one from your team leader.)
On walk day, make sure to bring all your collected cash and checks in an envelope with the donation form enclosed. Drop your money off at the check-in table and start stretching!
