We’re hiring again! It’s amazing to see the Care Center continue to grow as we seek to empower women and men in our community to face an unplanned pregnancy without fear. This temporary position, as outlined below, will be essential in ensuring our services to clients are effective and marked by excellence. Please read over the description and consider this temp position, or consider who you may know that could fill it for the allotted time-frame.

Position Description

The Client Operations Assistant will assist and support the Client Services Director in all her job duties. This will include implementing, and maintaining the four kinds of services provided to clients: Health, Education, Mentorship, and Resource services, including enforcement of related policies/procedures, wherever those services are rendered (whether in-house or on the mobile unit); other job-duties as assigned

Reports to: Executive Director

Immediate Supervisor: Client Services Director

Hours: 20-25/week

Position Type: Temporary, Ending July 29, 2016

Pay: $10-12/hour

 

Qualifications:
  • Female
  • Must be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including membership in good-standing, and attendance of, a local church
  • Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
  • Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center
  • Have a bachelor’s or master’s degree, preferably in a related field, or related experience equivalent
  • Have one year of experience as a volunteer in some ministry capacity
  • Be able to provide spiritual encouragement, discipleship, and support to volunteers
  • Must attend fundraising events
  • Flexible schedule to be available nights and weekends, as needed
Essential Functions:
  • Support Client Services Director in all her duties
  • Help conduct and supervise the recruitment, selection, and orientation of new volunteers; help train volunteers, including a 15-hour initial training, and ongoing (quarterly) in-service trainings; help conduct periodic evaluation of volunteers; lead in prayer
  • Help develop and maintain monthly schedule for volunteer peer advocates at the Care Center and on the mobile unit
  • Help conduct annual appreciation event for volunteers, with ongoing volunteer acknowledgements (birthdays, illness, etc.)
  • Help manage all mobile operations; ensure proper maintenance and upkeep of the unit; drive the unit to necessary locations and appointments, as needed
  • Provide peer advocacy and services for clients when necessary
  • Help maintain and update referral resources for volunteer and client use
  • Help evaluate, select, and maintain educational materials and resources
  • Help manage statistical information for Client Services department
  • Answer phones and receive clients/visitors as needed
  • Ensure client services areas are maintained and ready for use
