We’re still looking for another ultrasound technician to help us expand our services on the mobile ultrasound unit! If we are ever going to go out more than one day a week, we have to have more sonographers on staff. Please consider who you may know that fits the qualifications outlined below. One major qualification is that applicants must be registered diagnostic medical sonographer (RDMS) certified. Position Description:
Ultrasound Technicians will support health services rendered to clients by conducting prenatal ultrasounds for Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center on the mobile ultrasound unit. Responsibilities include providing prenatal ultrasounds according to medical standards of care; filing appropriate paperwork/data entry; upholding Care Center policies and procedures; engaging with clients on the mobile unit; other duties as assigned.
Hours: 5-10/week (Part-Time)
Pay: Based on Experience
Qualifications:
- Must be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including membership in good-standing, and attendance of, a local church
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principles, Statement of Faith, and policies of the center
- Compassionate disposition toward pregnant mothers and their families
- Must be RDMS certified, registered, and active
- Must comply with state and professional licensing and continuing education requirements
- Flexible schedule to be available during the week and possibly on weekends
Essential Functions:
- Provide ultrasounds according to medical standards of care and ultrasound training
- Conduct client pregnancy appointments, education, and referrals
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
- Document clinical findings, indicating concern for the viability of pregnancy and health of the mother
- Report findings to Mobile Unit Manager who will then consult Medical Directors
- Annual review of CPR certification
- Annual review of center policies and procedures, infection control regulations, and OSHA safety procedures, as time permits
- Drive mobile unit vehicle, as needed
