We are currently looking for a Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer (RDMS). Please see the position description below for details. Position Summary

RDMS (Ultrasound Technicians) will support medical services rendered to clients by conducting limited obstetrical ultrasounds for Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center on the mobile ultrasound unit and in-house at the Care Center. Responsibilities include providing limited obstetrical ultrasounds according to medical standards of care; filing appropriate paperwork/data entry; upholding Care Center policies and procedures; engaging with clients; other duties, as assigned.

Reports to: Health Services Director (Primary); Associate Executive Director (Secondary)

Manages: Related Volunteers

Hours: 25/week (Part-time)

Pay: Based on experience

Holidays and Benefits: 12 paid holidays (5 hours/holiday); 5 hours per month accrual of Paid Time Off (PTO); Retirement option (SIMPLE IRA) after 1 year of employment matched up to 3%

Position Competencies

1. Demonstrates competent knowledge in limited obstetrical ultrasounds
2. Good interpersonal communication skills with a kind disposition
3. Able to identify, develop, and mobilize emerging leaders for medical volunteer teams
4. Available and willing to counsel volunteers and give sound, biblical advice that aligns with center beliefs, as well as practical advice to help meet goals

Qualifications for Employment

• Must be female
• Must be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including membership in good-standing, and attendance of a local church
• Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the life-affirming position and sexual purity
• Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of the Care Center
• Must have RDMS credentials; certified, registered, and active
• Hold/maintain CPR certification
• Must comply with state and professional standards and continuing education requirements
• At least 1 year of RDMS experience; experience related to prenatal and obstetrical ultrasound is a plus

Essential Responsibilities of the Position

• Client Care

1. 1. Administer limited OB ultrasounds according to medical standards of care, and as directed by our medical board of directors
   2. Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients
   3. Step in to provide peer advocacy and services for clients, when necessary

1. 1. Compassionately discuss fetal development with the client during the ultrasound to help the client understand the gestational development of her baby and how that would impact her decision/intentions for the pregnancy

• Administrative/Professional Duties

1. 1. Document clinical findings accurately, and in accordance with standards of care, in detail, indicating concern for the viability of pregnancy and health of the mother
   2. Report findings to RN and/or Health Services Director on an as needed basis; consult Health Services Director and Medical Directors, as needed

1. 1. Review/renewal of CPR certification and other professional certifications or licensures annually, or as required

1. 1. 1. Annual review of center policies and procedures, HIPAA requirements, infection control regulations, and OSHA safety procedures
      2. Drive mobile unit vehicle, as needed
      3. Ensure medical services areas are cleaned, maintained, and ready for use

• Volunteer Development

1. 1. Ensure all medical volunteers recruited are being developed appropriately to serve clients with excellence
   2. Be willing to train medical volunteers, as needed; pray with volunteers regularly
