At the Care Center, we see many different kinds of clients come through our doors. All of them have three choices: (1) abort the baby; (2) carry to term and find a family to adopt the baby; or (3) carry to term and parent the baby. Here are two very different stories. If you are a Christian, please consider how you can pray for these two clients. Please also consider how you can give financially to support the work our volunteers do everyday.

Emily’s Story

Emily1 came in when she was around 30 weeks pregnant. She knew she wanted to choose adoption for her baby!

Bethany Christian Adoption Services came and spoke with me, Emily and two of Emily’s close friends to finalize the adoption and choose a family. While looking at the photo books of available families, Emily immediately said, “This is the right family,” and began to read the book. Her friends agreed that they loved her choice, as well.

Please pray that Emily has a safe and healthy delivery, and that she will always cherish this special moment in her life and the life of her child.

Katie’s Story

Katie2 came to take a pregnancy test and have an ultrasound to see how far along she was in her pregnancy. She thought she was around 9 weeks, but during the ultrasound she shockingly found out she was 23 weeks pregnant.

Katie was heavily considering abortion. She called the next day and told us that she tried to send her ultrasound pictures to an out-of-state abortion clinic (since it is illegal to have a late-term abortion in North Carolina), but the pictures were not clear enough. Katie said she is desperate to get her medical information over to the abortion clinic because she wants the abortion soon.

Please pray that Katie has a change of heart to either keep her baby, or pursue adoption before she makes a choice that will take the life of her baby and cause her emotional, spiritual, and potentially physical harm.
