Common Early Pregnancy Symptoms
During pregnancy, levels of progesterone are elevated, estrogen levels shift, blood volume increases, the uterus begins to grow, and digestion slows. Due to these shifts, you may experience one or more of the following.
- Fatigue
- Tender or swollen breasts
- Nausea
- Vomiting
- Missed period
- Increased urination
- Sensitivity to smell
- Food aversions
- Irritability, anxiousness, or emotionality
- Bloating
- Constipation
- Heartburn
