At Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center we are volunteer led and staff supported. This means volunteers lead us (our esteemed Board of Directors), as well as “do” the ministry here at the Care Center (our daily, boots-on-the-ground volunteers who help with office work and meet with clients). Volunteers are an essential part of how we operate.
Our volunteers make GPCC what it is. We love the wonderful men and women who serve here. This photo (above) is from Monday’s training with some of our current volunteers. We were sharing with them what we are up to and some of the changes we’re making, including our Open House on-ramp event.
The Open House
We are in need of more volunteers because it’s the only way we will be able to serve more clients effectively. If anyone is interested in volunteering at GPCC, the first step is attending our monthly Open House event.
Our first Open House is this coming Monday, May 15 from 6-8pm! If you are interested in attending the Open House, click the button below to find out the details and RSVP. We will have dinner for you, talk about who we are and what we do, let you ask questions of and meet the staff, and take a tour of our facility and mobile unit.
This event isn’t just for potential volunteers, though. If you simply want to learn more about getting plugged into our ministry, we would love to have you come. We can’t wait to meet you and let you know more about our organization. I hope you’ll join us and see the areas in which you can serve and partner.
Olivia Thomas is our Client Administrative Assistant. She loves spending time with her husband Phil and is very involved with her local church, Christ Church Greensboro.
