It’s been a year of tremendous growth for the Care Center, especially for our staff. In the last few months, we’ve added three new members to our team. Each person brings a unique set of skills to the Care Center, and we are so excited about having them that we wanted to introduce them to you, too!
Meet our Newest Staff Members
Jennah Steelman, Staff Nurse
Jennah serves our clients by administering all medical services, including pregnancy tests, STD tests, and limited obstetrical ultrasounds. She has previous experience in Pediatric ICU and Pediatric Emergency Care. She and her husband have three beautiful children. When Jennah is not working (or in carpool), she enjoys being outside with her family—especially at the beach! We are so excited to have Jennah as a part of our team!
Lauren McClure, Staff Nurse
Lauren graduated from Messiah College in 2014 and moved to Greensboro, NC to accept her first nursing job in the Wesley Long Emergency Department. In 2018 she transitioned to Labor and Delivery at Women’s Hospital before being offered a job with the Care Center in September 2018. She has a heart for Jesus and a desire to serve women and men walking through unplanned pregnancies. When not working she can be found wrangling the men in her life—her wonderful husband Mitch and her two precious little boys, Tucker and Jack.
Morgan Cates, Volunteer Coordinator
Morgan worked at Habitat for Humanity with volunteers for three years serving low income families to repair and remodel homes. She loves working together with volunteers to share the good news of Christ. She became a Christian in 2012 at a Campus Outreach Conference and since then has had a growing passion for serving others. She’s excited to join the Care Center and help volunteers to have an impactful and meaningful experience as they serve the city of Greensboro. When not at work, she loves serving as a volunteer at Mercy Hill Church.
