Nursing school is already hard. Adding a baby can feel impossible.
Halle, a student-mom to a one year old, shared on the Pregnancy Has Entered the Chat podcast that getting pregnant wasn’t on her bingo card for 2024. Now she looks back and sees all the good that has happened since then.
While she was nervous to be a student and a parent, the reward has been far greater. She flips negative “just wait” statements by telling herself, “just wait until you get those A’s” or “just wait until you show your daughter that mommy can do hard things”.
Halle shared that while nursing school has been very difficult as a parent, it has been equally as beautiful.
“Everyone harps on that it’s going to be the hardest years of your life… but honestly, I love what I’m doing. I love nursing, and I love being a mom.”
