2019 has been a year of growth and vision for Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center. We’ve seen a 24% increase in unique clients; a 38% increase in ultrasounds performed; and 82% of our clients have allowed us to share the gospel with them. We praise God for the opportunity to help women in our community.
While we are grateful for the growth we’ve experienced in Greensboro, we realize that the need in the Triad is great. In Guilford County, there were 1,876 abortions performed in one year, and in Forsyth County there were 1,555 abortions performed – a total of 3,431 abortions in the Triad.
That’s more than 3,400 women who have suffered through the trauma of abortion in one year alone.
Because the need is so great, we know that God is calling Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center to expand its services throughout the Triad. So after much prayer, we have decided to launch a new Care Center where the need is greatest: Winston Salem in Forsyth County. This expansion will occur later in 2020.
This expansion into the Triad means we will undergo a complete rebrand; this includes changing our name to The Pregnancy Network, Inc. We are so excited to share our new logo with you:
While our name is changing, our mission remains the same. We will continue empowering women to face their unplanned pregnancies without fear.
On March 2 of this year, we will publicly present our new name as The Pregnancy Network. This means that our website, social media, print materials, signage, and contact information will all reflect the new name.
So what does this mean for you right now? In the coming weeks, we’ll be providing more updates and information about this transition. We’ll share the “why” behind the new name, and make sure that you’re kept in the loop about our new look. If giving, you can begin to make out checks to ‘The Pregnancy Network.’
We are so excited about this expansion and the opportunity to serve more women in the Triad. Our desire is to empower women with truth and support so they never feel that abortion is their only option.
Abortion not only ends a life, but it deeply wounds every woman who experiences its trauma.
Women are hurting. Families are crumbling.
The need is great, and we must go.
Thank you for your ongoing partnership and faithfulness.
