‘They Told Me There Was Hope’: Over 630 Women to be Empowered

Royal became pregnant in 2020 and believed abortion was her only option. She felt there was no way she could finish her degree and make a better life for her and her son. How could she accomplish her goals while facing this pregnancy as a single mother?

A friend encouraged her to visit The Pregnancy Network, where she met Lauren, her nurse.

After her time with Lauren at TPN, Royal chose life for her daughter.

“They told me I could do it,” Royal said. “They told me it was possible. They told me there was hope. And they were right.”

Over 630 Women Will Be Empowered

On October 29 at the 2021 Triad Gala for Life, men and women gathered to hear Royal’s story and the mission and vision of The Pregnancy Network. Keynote J.D. Greear spoke about the impact of generous giving and the value of empowering women to face their unplanned pregnancies without fear.

We are thrilled to share that over $764,439 was raised that evening – enough to empower more than 630 women.

These funds will provide women with access to free medical services, education and resources, and mentorship.
