If you were watching the Miss Universe Pageant on Sunday night, you witnessed a huge mistake by the emcee of the show as he announced the wrong winner. It was a very awkward moment as they took the crown off one girl and placed it on another. The emcee, did take the blame for his mistake and apologized to the contestants and the viewers. Still, he has been the target of negative comments as the media continues to talk about it. He hasn’t been shown much compassion and forgiveness.
Each day we see women come to the Care Center who have made mistakes in their lives and many of them are on the verge of making another mistake to attempt to “correct” the first one. As we have the opportunity to talk with these women, we want to show them compassion and love as they struggle through their crisis. We desire to show them that abortion is not the answer. We want to empower them to face their unplanned pregnancy without fear.
As we reflect on the past year at Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center, it is wonderful how God is allowing us to move forward in a way marked with excellence and effectiveness. As a Christian organization, we believe God works through the prayers of his people; and we have surely seen God work. We have seen more clients this year than in years past, and that number will likely double after we launch the mobile unit this spring. It is important to remember that each number represents someone’s story, so we take our numbers seriously! We are thankful that God is using the Care Center to change people’s lives. If you are a faithful partner with us, then know that you are part of making a difference.

Let’s not leave our clients and potential clients without a better alternative to Planned Parenthood or abortion providers in Guilford County. If we work together, we will make an impact on our community; we will make abortion unnecessary in Greensboro.
