Nervous, excited, all the things. That’s how Halle felt when she found out she was pregnant as a newlywed college student.
At 20 years old, Halle was still figuring out school and life. When two pink lines appeared, fear, shock, and a million questions ran through her. She wondered how she’d navigate school as a mom and how they’d afford the expenses that come with parenthood.
Halle and her husband got connected with The Pregnancy Network the night she found out she was pregnant. They got in for an appointment the next day.
Halle and her husband saw their daughter on an ultrasound, and the staff at The Pregnancy Network connected them with a network of resources.
Halle attended the Pregnancy 101 class at The Pregnancy Network and was given baby items at each class she attended. The Pregnancy Network helped her apply for Pregnancy Medicaid and SNAP. Because TPN set her up with these resources, she paid only $60 for her prenatal care and delivery.
Halle shared how much of a blessing these resources were: “I’m just thankful for TPN for being able to point us in the right direction.”
