Position Description
The Mobile Unit Maintenance Assistant will perform regular maintenance on the mobile unit on a weekly, monthly, or yearly basis. Maintenance needs may include (but are not limited to) filling the unit with gas and propane; dumping and filling water tanks; cleaning inside and out (including regular maintenance cleanings of water tanks); maintaining oil-checks, tire rotations, inspections and other normal and regular maintenance needs; ensuring any emergency maintenance needs that arise are dealt with as quickly as possible; other related duties as assigned.
Reports to: Associate Executive Director
Hours: 3-5 per week (Part-Time)
Qualifications:
- Must be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord, including membership in good-standing, and attendance of, a local church
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the life-affirming position and sexual purity
- Agree with and be willing to uphold the Statement of Principle, Statement of Faith and policies of the Care Center
- Must be flexible, honest, and pursue humility
- Strong sense of initiative (driven); able to handle responsibilities without immediate oversight
- Detail-oriented with a desire for excellence and completion of tasks is crucial
- Requires strong communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly disposition
- Must be comfortable with driving a 32 foot vehicle
- 21 years of age or older, prefered for insurance purposes
Essential Functions:
- Work with Associate Executive Director to maintain a regular maintenance schedule on a weekly basis for the mobile unit
- Maintenance needs will include:
- Filling the unit with gas weekly
- Filling the propane tank, as needed
- Dumping and filling water tanks, weekly
- Cleaning inside the unit weekly (including taking out the trash, sweeping, etc.)
- Cleaning the outside of the unit, as needed
- Working with mechanics to maintain regular oil-checks, tire rotations, generator maintenance, yearly inspections, etc.
- Ensuring emergency maintenance needs are dealt with as quickly as possible
