A Word from our Executive Director
Only one week left to purchase your tickets to our Benefit Dinner 2016! This fundraising event on Friday, October 21, will financially support half of Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center’s annual budget. The donations received that evening will allow the Care Center to continue offering services free of charge and enable us to improve and expand our services in the community.
Over this past year, I’ve seen positive growth at the Care Center. I’ve seen an increasing number of clients and the need to be more accessible to them in their time of need.
Since the launch of our mobile ultrasound unit, the Care Center has been able to give more clients an ultrasound before they go to an abortion clinic. I’ve also seen lives changed because the Gospel was shared with them and local churches are mentoring them in their Christian growth.
You have partnered with us to make this happen. You are part of this ministry and part of seeing abortion end in Greensboro because of your financial commitment. You will get the opportunity to invest in our future in an impactful way at the Benefit Dinner.
Twin brothers David and Jason Benham will be the keynote speakers for the evening. The brothers are former professional baseball players, best selling authors, speakers, and nationally acclaimed entrepreneurs. Their rapid rise to success earned them a reality show with HGTV, but the show was abruptly cancelled because of their commitment to biblical values.
The brothers have an intimate connection with the issue of abortion because their dad was a pastor in Texas during the Roe v. Wade Supreme Court deliberation and decision. He knew “Jane Roe” and played a significant role in her conversion to Christianity. You won’t want to miss hearing the brothers’ story!
