We live in a culture where we’re constantly being bombarded with information and it can sometimes be difficult to sift the important stuff from the not-so-important stuff.
Prime example: Facebook just told me that Jane Doe had a burger and fries for dinner last night. The burger was delicious, but she feels a little guilty for already sabotaging her new year’s resolution of “no meat, ever.” She included a picture of her with her burger and mixed emotions on her face.
Probably not-so-important.
Another example: It’s Monday night. Twitter just told me that “The Bachelor” is trending. A good 75% of the tweets on my feed are people lamenting over the life decisions of Barbie. How could she ever hope to gain the affections and trust of Ken if she’s not honest about her fake hair color and extensions?
Again. Not-so-important. (Or remotely interesting, for that matter…)
Buried underneath the white noise are a few nuggets of information actually worth processing. But it can be pretty easy to miss the stuff with substance—and who has time to dig their way through all the information overload, anyway?
To help you sort through this massive influx, we have three primary ways that will guarantee you won’t miss a thing when it comes to what’s happening at Greensboro Pregnancy Care Center. Check them out:
- Monthly Email Updates: This is exactly what it sounds like. By signing up on our email list, you’ll get one email at the start of each month giving you the highlights of what’s going on at the Care Center. We’ll let you know about upcoming events, exciting new changes, and some areas where we could use help from partners like you.
- Prayer Partner Email Updates: As a Christian organization, we believe God works through the prayers of His people. By signing up to be a prayer partner, you’ll receive 1-2 emails each month with specific prayer needs. This information will empower you to serve the Care Center in the most effective way, no matter where you are.
- Bi-Annual Report: By signing up on our mailing list, you’ll receive a news report twice a year. These two reports cover our fiscal statistics, client statistics, upcoming events, partnership opportunities, and an update from our Executive Director. If you sign up now, you’ll receive our bi-annual report at the end of this month, which will provide you with the statistics and community impact of the Care Center during the 2016 year.
